hi my name is mary!
a Denver-based photographer, art school graduate, and lifelong lover of making things (and people) look cool.
I’ve been photographing people, places, and everything in between since 2018, working in both digital and film, in studio and on location. My work is driven by color, composition, creativity, and a constant urge to turn everyday moments into something worth looking at twice.
I’m not interested in making photos that feel overly perfect or cookie-cutter. I want to make work that feels honest, thoughtful, and distinctly yours!
Why I Care
I like people. A lot.
I like learning what makes someone tick, watching how people interact, and noticing the little things they probably don't notice about themselves. Photography became my way of paying attention.
There’s so much of life that happens for half a second and then disappears — a look, a laugh, someone's hand on your shoulder, the way your friends lose their minds on the dance floor. I want to catch that stuff.
Not because everything needs to be preserved forever, but because some things are worth keeping. And I think photographs are one of the coolest ways we get to hold onto the people and moments that matter to us.
